It's a truly exceptional hotel in Windermere. The food is good and the breakfast was freshly cooked. The setting is incredibly comfortable, short walk to the restaurants, shops and bars, pubs, shops, and restaurants and bars, shopping area. Also, High Street is just a short distance away. Really enjoyed this Victorian hotel, and we would consider staying here again. Everything was beautiful, had a very special stay for 2 nights. It had magnificent and comfortable location right by bus station, Windermere with an easy stroll down to bowness ideal for all travel requirements and restaurants.

The room is modern and essentials you need, including an air conditioner and a living room, is right there. The bed is very comfy, slept really good. The location is fantastic - walk from a train station. It provides great restaurant nearby.

The room I booked was new-fashioned and huge with lovely garden views, a large very comfortable bed plus television. I had a freshly prepared breakfast with homemade jams. The location of the hotel was central, near to Ambleside and lovely restaurants and bars.
